Senior Data Analyst Medicaid

Remote: Fully Remote

Duration: 5 Years

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who combines strong SQL and Power BI expertise with hands-on healthcare data experience. Experience with Medicaid claims data, healthcare performance measurement, and complex datasets will be particularly valuable in this role.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Health Policy, Health Economics, Statistics, Medical Informatics, Epidemiology , or a similar discipline. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• 3+ years of experience conducting data analysis focused on measuring healthcare performance and reporting results to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with:
  • SQL
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Access
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data and identify patterns and trends.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet short deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Other Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Health Policy, Health Economics, Statistics, Medical Informatics, Epidemiology , or a similar discipline.
• Proven healthcare data expertise, particularly experience working with:
  • Healthcare claims data
  • Minimum Data Set (MDS) data
  • Complex real-world healthcare datasets
• Knowledge and practical understanding of Medicaid claims data .
• Experience working with state Medicaid programs or healthcare government data is highly desirable.
