Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Washing & Sanitation: Washing, rinsing, and sanitizing plates, flatware, glasses, pots, and pans. This requires following strict local health codes regarding water temperature and chemical levels.
• General Kitchen Cleaning: Sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning work surfaces, and helping sanitize cooking equipment and prep stations
• Waste Management: Emptying, cleaning, and sanitizing trash receptacles and cardboard bins throughout the shift and at closing.
• Station Setup & Breakdown: Setting up the dish pit before service and breaking down, draining, and thoroughly sanitizing the dish machine and sinks at the end of the shift.

Skills

• Equipment Operation: Ability to safely use and maintain industrial dishwashers, garbage disposals, and sanitization sinks.
• Sanitation & Hygiene Standards: Strictly following local health codes regarding water temperature, washing times, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Kitchen Organization: Efficiently scraping, sorting, stacking, and restocking dishware, glassware, and cookware.
